I've visited several times and each time I walk in there I'm ignored. Not one person has said hello or may I help you. I was interested in purchasing a pistol for my wife or a 1911 for me or maybe both. Thought I go back by there since it's on the way home, but I guess I'll take the long way home and shop somewhere else.

Came into the shop to have a scope installed in some Talley rings. While there mentioned that i would like to have my rifle Cerakoted. They informed me that they do not Cerakote rifles, but they do have a guy that works for them (or with them) that does Cerakote. I spoke with the Cerakote guy that was working in the gunsmith room of Damron's and 'felt' that he was competent. After the Cerakote was applied, it was rough to the touch and had finger prints baked into the finish. I was never happy with the finish so took it to another shop (Dallas metro) and they informed that the Cerakote was in fact done poorly and that the bottom half of the action wasn't even done. They said unless the action was removed from the stock, one would never know. Now, I know that Damron's did not complete the Cerakote, but shame on them for recommending someone that did such a horrible and incomplete job. Now, onto the scope. The scope got dented by the staff (gunsmith or whom ever did it). This was a nice Swaro scope, so I'm very disapointed that they dented the scope. In addition to the denting, the scope was not tightened correctly and 'wiggled' around in the rings. Of course, having to pay for both the Cerakote and poorly installed scope, leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I recently went there with my wife, and ended up putting a smith & Wesson m&p .40 on lay away. They were extremely helpful & patient with me, they also helped me to find a gun that is right for me. Their prices are excellent and they are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. When it comes to guns.... This is the only place I will do business!
